The gig We need someone to build and own the manufacturing operation that turns engineering output into high-precision, production-ready machines — reliably, safely and at scale. This isn’t a maintenance or production-supervisor role. You’ll build the systems, processes and teams that take us from engineering handoff to a shipped product.

Own production end to end across our own facilities and external manufacturing partners. Work directly with Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality to turn prototypes into repeatable production, build capacity as we scale, and create a manufacturing organization that can move fast without compromising quality.

What you’ll do Own production strategy, planning, scheduling, capacity and delivery across internal and external manufacturing · build and lead a multi-layered production organization across managers, supervisors, engineers and operators · design production processes, standard work and manufacturing systems from the ground up · drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, SMED and value-stream improvements · establish quality, HSE and compliance systems and drive root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions · work with Engineering on manufacturability, production handoff and NPI — from prototype through stable production · own production budgets, resource planning, equipment, tooling, materials and labor · plan facilities and manufacturing capacity as the company scales · use cycle time, downtime, yield, scrap, rework and utilization data to drive decisions · identify and eliminate bottlenecks across the shop floor · build the operating cadence, metrics and accountability systems needed to keep production moving.

Must haves Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management or related field · 14–16 yrs progressive manufacturing/production experience, including significant senior leadership experience · proven track record building or scaling manufacturing operations and delivering measurable improvements · strong hands-on understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, factory layouts and production flow · experience across processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, surface treatment or similar · strong understanding of production planning, ERP/MES and manufacturing systems · proven ability to lead large, multi-layered teams · strong data-driven problem solving and operational decision-making · excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to senior leadership · comfortable owning budgets, capacity planning and operational targets · quality and safety are non-negotiable.

Nice to haves Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt · experience with advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics or Industry 4.0/IoT · led major NPI programs, facility expansions or greenfield manufacturing setups · strong supply-chain and logistics understanding · experience in industrial automation, robotics, electronics or semiconductor manufacturing · familiarity with ISO, IATF 16949 and other relevant manufacturing standards · experience building manufacturing systems in a high-growth company · comfortable operating where the processes don’t exist yet and you have to build them.
