The gig We are looking for a technically strong and hands-on Product Head to own the development of next-gen industrial automation equipment. You’ll drive the full product journey i.e. from concept → design → prototype → validation → production → customer deployment → continuous improvement. Basically you’ll be the person making sure the machine doesn’t just look good on paper - but actually works.

What you’ll do Own the product vision, requirements, specifications and developmentroadmap · define machine level productarchitecture · collaborate with mechanical + robotics + vision + electrical + controls + software + testing · coordinate proto builds, engineering trials, design reviews, integration activities and customer demos · root-cause tough problems · define and track test and validation plans to meet machine acceptance criteria · continuously push the product forward - better performance, higher reliability, lower cost and faster cycle times

Must haves Bachelor's/ Master’sin Mech or Mechatronics Engg · 14 yrs in product development, industrial automation, robotics, vision or engineering intensive products · experience defining productrequirements, systemspecifications, acceptance criterias and validation plans · real hands-onassembly/ prototyping/ testing experience · strong understanding of machine performance metrics like UPH, cycle time, accuracy, repeatability, OEE, reliability and process capability · established and methodical problem-solver · comfortable going from high level product thinking to get your hands dirty on the machine

Nice to haves Bonus points if you have experience developing automation equipment for EMS, mobilephones, wearables, semiconductor, automotive or other high volume manufacturing industries · hands on in computer vision, AI/ ML based inspection, software controlled automation systems · Experience developing products like dispensing, screwdriving, pickandplace, alignment, inspection, laser processing or precision assembly.
