The gig We need someone who lives in SolidWorks and isn't afraid to get hands-on. Design the mechanical guts of our automation systems, concept to production. Build it, test it, break it, fix it, ship it. Not a "sit in meetings" role.

What you’ll do Design components & assemblies in SolidWorks · turn 3D models into 2D drawings with GD&T · prototype, assemble, test, troubleshoot · work closely with electrical/manufacturing/R&D/quality teams · root-cause tough problems · speak up in design reviews · run stress/kinematic calcs to validate designs · keep BOMs & ECOs clean · stay sharp on new tech & processes

Must haves Bachelor's in Mech Eng · 3-4 yrs mechanical design & product dev experience · expert-level SolidWorks (modeling, surfacing, assemblies, advanced drafting) · real hands-on assembly/prototyping/testing experience · strong grasp of machining, injection molding, sheet metal & how they shape design · methodical problem-solver · solid written & verbal communication · team player, no lone-wolf energy.

Nice to haves Master's in Mech Eng · PDM/PLM experience · FEA skills (SolidWorks Simulation, Ansys) · GD&T fluency · DFM/DFA know-how · basic electronics understanding · SPM/industrial machinery experience · CSWP/CSWE certs.
