can you turn electrical chaos into a system?

Electrical Design Engineer | Hyderabad, India | Full-Time | 3–6 yrs exp

Who we are We build dark factories: fully autonomous, zero-defect production systems for electronics & semiconductor manufacturing. Based in Hyderabad, obsessed with tolerances, not corporate fluff.

The gig We need someone who can take an electrical concept and turn it into a complete, buildable industrial system; not just someone who can draw schematics. Own the electrical design stack end to end: schematics, panels, component selection, documentation, libraries, standards and the workflows that make the whole team faster.

You’ll build the infrastructure behind our electrical designs as much as the designs themselves. From creating the first master parts library and drafting standards to automating BOMs, wire lists and cable schedules, you’ll help define how electrical engineering gets done here.

What you’ll do Create industrial electrical schematics for control panels, power distribution and automation systems · design SLDs, power & control circuits, termination and interconnection diagrams · create panel GA drawings with practical component spacing, thermal management and cable routing · build and maintain the master electrical parts database, symbols, macros and article data · establish reusable templates, naming conventions, layer/drafting standards and design rules · automate repetitive outputs like BOMs, wire lists and cable schedules using scripts, Excel, APIs or native CAD tooling · select and size MCBs, contactors, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, terminal blocks and other industrial components based on loads and system requirements · work with vendors and suppliers to select and source components · work closely with electrical, controls, mechanical and assembly teams to make sure designs actually work on the shop floor · visit the assembly floor, review builds and feed practical learnings back into the design system · continuously improve the design workflow so every project gets faster and more consistent.

Must haves Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering / EEE or related · 3–6 yrs designing industrial electrical systems, panels or automation equipment · strong hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, ZWCAD or a comparable industrial electrical CAD tool · experience creating schematics, SLDs, control circuits, termination diagrams and panel layouts · solid understanding of industrial electrical components and control-panel architecture · familiarity with IEC 60204, IEC 61439 and relevant electrical safety/design practices · able to interpret electrical loads and make appropriate component selections · comfortable working with vendors, component datasheets and industrial part numbers · strong attention to detail and documentation discipline · willing to work directly with the shop floor and verify that designs are actually practical to build.

Nice to haves EPLAN API / EEC or similar CAD automation experience · built custom symbols, macros, templates or part databases · automated BOM, wire-list or cable-schedule generation · Excel/VBA, Python or scripting experience for engineering workflows · experience with Siemens, Schneider, Phoenix Contact or similar industrial ecosystems · experience designing electrical systems for PLCs, motion control, VFDs or robotics · familiarity with panel manufacturing and wiring practices · experience establishing engineering standards for a growing team · comfortable evaluating newer or lower-cost CAD tools without compromising engineering quality · thrives in a small, fast-moving product team where you’re expected to build the process, not wait for one.

tl;dr If you’d rather build the electrical engineering system than just draw the next schematic, and you care about making designs clean, buildable and repeatable — come build it with us.
